is situated in this beautiful, tranquil and undiscovered part of Brittany, just one and half
km from the sandy beaches (a 20 minute walk through lanes and woods). Only 35 minutes
from Roscoff or 2 hours from St. Malo, Coat Aillis is the ideal location for family
holidays, the full French experience without hours of driving from the ferry ports.

| Originally a working farm, now standing in it’s own ground of over two acres, consists of
a large farmhouse,heated swimming pool and a small complex of traditional stone buildings
which have been tastefully renovated into comfortable gites situated in idyllic countryside yet only a few minutes from the beach.
For people interested in out of season holidays the coastline is magnificent to walk we
have also five different walks from the gites ranging from an easy half hour to a two
hour hike through beautiful countryside and woods.Also available for hire is a minibus (9 seater for larger groups ).

| The farmhouse has 6 bedrooms 2 of which have showers and washbasins.
The downstairs TV children's room can be used as an optional 7th bedroom.There
is a large well equipped kitchen with a dish washer, washing machine, large
cooker, microwave oven, and is generally well equiped to cater for large
groups. The well hedged garden garden gives complete privacy from the world.
On site is a games room with table tennis,a pool table and babyfoot ,there is also a childen's toy corner.

The gites have been tastefully renovated over a period of years and are continously improved to provide
a comfortable stay and relaxing holiday. All of them have open plan kitchens
where snacks or serious cooking can be accomplished
There is one 4 bedroom gite sleeping up to 10, 3 of the gites have three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with bunk beds
or
singles. The smaller gite has one double, a single and a bunkbed sleeping up to 5 .Cots and high chairs are
freely available.

The previous owner was a well known
communist, famous locally for his war time activities. During renovation work guns were
found hidden in the walls of the buildings.
We ( Simon,Paulien and our four children ) arrived in January '93 and have since
established one of the most relaxing gite complexes in Brittany.
We are now able to offer 5 gites sleeping 4 - 10 people and a spacious farmhouse sleeping
up to 14 with all weather pool cover to guarantee swimming
regardless of the weather.

| Each gite has its own private garden for outdoor eating and BBQ. On site you can relax
by our 12 x 6 pool (with all weather cover guarantees swimming regardless of the weather between April and October ) a family
sauna, a games room with a pool table and table tennis and babyfoot or let the children play in
their own play area while you have a game of boule or just relax amidst the cider apple
trees in the orchard. Use the onsite WiFi to keep in touch with outside or work events.
The local beach has an excellent water sports centre where you can hire dinghies, sand
yachts or try your hand at wind surfing. Tennis and horse riding are within 5 minutes
drive. Shopping is just a 5 minute drive to Plestin les Greves where the local supermarket provides for all needs there is also a pharmacy,doctors surgery, post office, bank and several bars. The Sunday street market is a great way to stock up on local products and slip into the relaxed pace of french life.

Lannion market and lunch time eating at the "Chateigner", you‘ll not eat again that day. |
